Autobahn Craftwerks has been in business for thirty years starting in 1970. The original site was Northside Radiator, my Father’s Business for thirty years. From working with Father I learned auto mechanics and to how operate a small business.
Autobahn Craftwerks originally started as a Volkswagen repair shop, specializing in Beetle restoration. As I was riding motorcycles at the time I expanded into motorcycle repair. I soon started doing restoration of old motorcycles as a marketing line and have become one of the area’s best known specialty motorcycle painters.
In the last five years the business has expanded four times. Expanded into a new building and floor space and now have floor space for a show room and clothing line. The shop has grown from a 2,000 square feet building to a 12,000 square foot working shop.
Three years ago I purchased the Bajaj & Argo Motor Scoter Line. This transferred my used dealer’s license to a new dealer’s license and allowed me to expand into the retail sales scooter market. At this time I began using the Internet to expand business to worldwide market.
Currently Autobahn Craftwerks has developed its reputation on quality vintage motorcycle restoration.
